The first story I ever wrote.

Splendid and Flippy were walking side by side down the streets Happy Tree town. They were on their way to a movie called, 'The monster from the deep'. You see, Splendid had a huge crush on Flippy and had been dropping hints that he likes him. But like a fool, Flippy is completely oblivious.

So one day when Splendid was reading the paper he saw an ad for a scary movie and asked Flippy to go with him. Because what's a better way to close to someone then a scary movie? "Splendid?" Splendid was jolt out of his thoughts. "Yes Flippy?" "How scary is the movie?" "Don't worry Flippy, it's not very scary at all."

They soon arrived at the theater. Flippy checked his pockets. "Dang I forgot my wallet..." "It's okay Flippy, I'll pay for both of us." "Thanks Splendid." They entered the movie theater and Splendid bought some popcorn and soda for Flippy. They sat down in their seats. There was no one else in the theater. 'Perfect.' Splendid thought.

25 minutes into the movie, Flippy screamed and grabbed Splendid. He looked at the screen and screamed even more. Splendid hugged him and Flippy looked up into Splendid's eyes. He had never noticed how beautiful they were, or how muscular he was.

Splendid looked down into the lime-green bear's sparking eyes. "Flippy I-" Before he could say anything else Flippy pulled him close and kissed him. "I like you to Splendid."
